Surveillé de près par le LOSC, Fashion Sakala ne rejoindra pas Lille lors du prochain mercato. En fin de contrat au KV Ostende, l'attaquant international zambien de 24 ans a signé un pré-contrat aux Glasgow Rangers. Une arrivée toutefois sous condition qu'il obtienne son permis de travail.
Auteur de 13 buts et 4 passes décisives cette saison, Fashion Sakala était notamment convoité par le LOSC afin de compenser les possibles départs de Jonathan Ikoné ou Jonathan Bamba.
